Built around a short stay, not a long one
A weekend let is the most common booking we take, and the one we have refined most. Arrival and departure times are set around real travel rather than a rigid slot, and we tell you before you book whether a late check-out is possible for your dates.
If you are only in a place for two nights, the practical details matter more than the extras: a warm property, a shower that works, a bed you can sleep in and a way to get food without driving.
- Two-night minimum on most homes, three at peak weekends
- Flexible Friday or Thursday arrival outside school holidays
- Late check-out where the next booking allows it
- Whole-home letting — no other guests in the building share your space
- Self-catering kitchen, or a location within walking distance of restaurants

How a two-night booking actually runs
Weekend guests need less furniture and more certainty. We keep the home simple, the instructions short and the answers quick, so two nights away do not turn into two weeks of administration.
- Arrival instructions sent in advance, with a phone number for the day
- Heating and hot water checked the morning of your arrival
- Starter supply of tea, coffee, washing-up liquid and toilet roll
- A single contact for anything that needs attention during the stay

About this type of stay
Can we arrive late on a Friday evening?
Usually yes. Tell us your arrival window when you book and we will confirm whether a late arrival can be arranged for that property. Some homes are in residential buildings where late arrivals need to be agreed in advance.
Is a two-night stay really the minimum?
Two nights is the minimum on most homes. The townhouse and coastal cottage are three nights, and the family home is four. Peak weekends and public holidays may carry a longer minimum.
Do we have to pay a cleaning fee on top?
The nightly rate covers the preparation of the home for your arrival. Where a separate cleaning or pet charge applies, it is shown in your written quote before you pay anything.
Can we bring friends for one night of the stay?
Please tell us who is staying. The home is let for the number of guests on the booking, and insurance and safety limits mean we cannot accept more people than the property is rated for.
Ready to check dates?
Send the home you are interested in together with your arrival and departure dates and we will confirm availability and the rate.
