What we check before you arrive in a city home
Before we take on a city home we walk the route a guest would take: to the stop, to the nearest shop, to somewhere to eat on the first evening. If that walk is unpleasant, the property does not join the list however good the apartment is.

About this type of stay
Is the apartment in a residential building?
Yes. Our city apartments sit in ordinary residential buildings, which means guests need to keep to the building’s quiet hours and entrance rules. Those rules are written into the property notes before you book.
Can we leave luggage before check-in?
Often, yes. If the apartment is free from the morning we will usually let you drop bags early. Ask when you book and we will confirm what is possible on your date.
Is parking available in the city?
City centre parking is limited, so we state clearly on each home page whether there is a space, a permit or only paid public parking nearby. Many guests find they do not need a car at all.
How do we get in on arrival?
You receive the full address, entry details and a contact number once the balance is settled, plus a direct number for the day you travel in case anything changes.
