Ask a questionBooking and availability
Which locations do you have homes in?
Our homes are in selected locations in the European Union, covering a mix of towns, cities and coastal areas. Availability changes with the season, so send us your dates and we will tell you which homes are free and where they are.
How far ahead should we book?
School holidays, public holidays and peak weekends are usually taken well in advance. Outside those periods you can often book a few weeks before travelling, and it is always worth asking about short-notice availability.
Do you have a minimum stay?
Two nights on most homes, three nights on the townhouse and coastal cottage, and four nights on the family home. Peak periods and holiday weekends may carry a longer minimum stay.
Can we see the property before booking?
Not in person, because the homes are let and often occupied. We answer detailed questions about layout and facilities, and the photographs on each home page are of that specific property rather than a similar one.
Prices, deposits and payment
How much does a night cost?
Rates start at £85 per night for the studio and rise through the larger properties, with the family home at the top of the range. Longer stays and off-season dates are usually lower per night. The rate card on our home page lists the starting rate for each home.
What is included in the rate?
The rate covers the whole home for the nights booked, with Wi-Fi, utilities and the preparation of the property before arrival. It does not include any refundable damage deposit, which is returned after the property has been checked.
Are there extra charges?
Sometimes — a pet cleaning charge, or a separate cleaning charge on certain short bookings. Any extra is set out in your written quote before you pay anything.
Which currency do you quote in?
All rates are quoted in pounds sterling.
Arrival and during your stay
What time can we check in?
Check-in windows differ by property and are confirmed in your booking. Where the calendar allows we can often agree an earlier arrival or a later departure for a short booking.
How do we collect the keys?
You receive the full address, entry details and a contact number once the balance is settled, along with instructions for the day you travel.
Is there parking?
It varies by property. Where there is a space, a permit or unrestricted street parking it is stated on the home page. If parking is genuinely difficult we say so before you book.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes, in every home, and every property has a table or desk that can be used for work.
Is the property cleaned between guests?
Yes. Every home is cleaned, aired, and has its linen and towels laundered between stays, and we check the heating, hot water and safety alarms before each arrival.
Rules and practical points
Are pets allowed?
Some homes accept one well-behaved dog by prior agreement and for a small additional cleaning charge. Mention the pet when you enquire so we can confirm which properties can take one.
Can more guests stay than the property sleeps?
No. Each home is let for the number of guests on the booking, and safety and insurance limits mean we cannot accept more people than the property is rated for. Tell us if your party changes and we will advise.
Is smoking allowed?
No. All our homes are non-smoking, including balconies and gardens, and that is a condition of the booking.
What if something breaks or stops working?
Call the contact number in your arrival instructions. We would much rather fix a problem on the first evening than hear about it afterwards, and repairs are dealt with by the same team that let you the home.
Still have a question?
Call or email us with the property and the dates you have in mind and we will answer directly, in writing, so you have it on record.
